There are three ways to connect and view photographs with the Excelis 4K UHD Microscope Camera. With the bundled HDMI cable, you can connect straight to a 4K monitor and manage the camera settings with the camera's built-in software — no need for a PC! You simply plug in the camera to the monitor, then use a wireless mouse to adjust exposure, capture images, make measurements and annotations. Once you have something to save or share you can save them directly to a Thumb drive which you will plug into the camera.
The second way to interact with the device is to connect the camera to a PC using the included USB 3.0 cable, and control the camera, acquire, measure and annotate images using the included full-featured CaptaVision+ imaging software. Lastly, there is an ethernet port so that you can connect to a LAN and use a network drive and have remote access to the camera. Never before has true 4k imaging with a microscope been this easy or inexpensive. This is the perfect companion for a Stereo Microscope or a Compound Microscope and will perform well with Transmitted Light or reflected light microscopy.
