Tucsen MIchrome 16 is a 16MP USB3.0 scientific microscope camera designed for high-resolution brightfield imaging, biological microscopy, stereo microscope imaging, industrial inspection, laboratory documentation, and advanced digital microscopy workflows. Using a Sony IMX206CQC CMOS sensor, the MIchrome 16 delivers detailed image capture, rich color reproduction, and software-controlled scientific imaging performance for laboratories, universities, inspection systems, and research environments.

The MIchrome 16 is positioned as a high-resolution brightfield microscope camera optimized for users who want greater imaging detail and larger image files than lower-resolution scientific microscope cameras. It is especially useful for biological microscopy, pathology documentation, educational imaging, industrial inspection, and digital microscope workflows where image detail and accurate color reproduction are important.

Key Features: 16MP USB3.0 microscope camera • Sony IMX206CQC CMOS sensor • 4608 × 3456 resolution • 1.34 µm pixels • live stitching • live EDF • USB3.0 connectivity • Mosaic V2 software • 16/8-bit output • brightfield microscope imaging • stereo microscope imaging • industrial inspection support • wide color temperature adjustment • C-mount compatibility

Ideal Applications:

• High-resolution brightfield microscopy

• Biological microscope documentation

• Pathology & laboratory imaging

• Stereo microscope imaging & documentation

• Industrial inspection & quality control

• Educational microscope imaging systems

• Metallurgical & materials microscopy

• Scientific image capture & digital documentation

High-Resolution Brightfield Imaging: The MIchrome 16 is optimized for brightfield microscope imaging applications where users need higher image resolution, richer imaging detail, and strong color fidelity. The 16MP imaging platform provides detailed microscope image capture for reports, publications, teaching materials, laboratory records, pathology documentation, and industrial inspection workflows.

Rich Color Reproduction: Tucsen highlights the MIchrome 16 for its wide-range color temperature adjustment and strong color fidelity. Integrated 2000-15000K color temperature adjustment improves white balance and helps produce more accurate microscope image color reproduction without requiring extensive post-processing.

Live Stitching & Live EDF: The MIchrome 16 supports live image stitching and live extended depth-of-field imaging through Tucsen Mosaic V2 software. These tools allow users to generate larger mosaic images while moving the microscope stage and combine multiple focal planes into clearer extended-depth images for improved documentation and workflow efficiency.

Scientific USB3 Imaging Workflow: USB3.0 connectivity provides fast data transfer and responsive software-controlled microscope imaging. The MIchrome 16 supports computer-based image acquisition, exposure adjustment, annotation, measurement, image organization, and scientific documentation workflows using Tucsen Mosaic software.

Sensor & Imaging Performance: The camera uses a Sony IMX206CQC color CMOS sensor with 4608(H) × 3456(V) resolution, 1.34 µm pixels, a 7.77 mm sensor diagonal, rolling shutter operation, and 12 fps full-resolution live imaging through USB3.0.
